Confort also in winter
Vassända offers winter comfort and can be hired any time of year. It is built with natural wood and good isolation. Heating and hot water are provided by geothermal heating. The private well gives drinkable source water.The house lies undisturbed, but not isolated. There are several houses in the surroundings. The closest populated area is Ed, a little town with some 3,000 inhabitants, 6 km away from Vassända. It has commodities and postal service, bank, chemist, medical aid, shops, workshop, etc.
On chillier evenings, you can light a fire in the living room or, in the breeding season, sit on the veranda and listen to the male roe deer fighting.
